Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer for an NGO will be responsible for creating visually compelling designs that effectively communicate the organization's mission to its target audience. The successful candidate will work closely with other departments to ensure brand consistency and manage design projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing designs, including posters, flyers, brochures, social media graphics, and other promotional materials that support the organization's mission.
- Ensure that all designs align with the NGO's brand guidelines, including the use of logos, colors, and typography.
- Manage design projects from start to finish, which includes creating design briefs, setting timelines, and collaborating with other members of the organization.
- Conduct research on current design trends and best practices to ensure that the organization's designs are up-to-date and effective.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, communications, and fundraising to create designs that support the overall goals of the organization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design software and tools to produce high-quality designs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field.
- Proven experience in creating visually appealing designs for various media.
- Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with different departments and teams.
